Dear friends,
ADI will be attending the 6th International Congress on Vascular Dementia, to be held in Barcelona, Spain from 19-22 November 2009. The event will aim to be a showcase for the discussion of new developments in the area of dementia with special attention to cerebrovascular diseases and cerebral blood flow.
The meeting will be an opportunity to deliberate on large and small vessel brain diseases and how they contribute to cognitive decline. It will try to identify the specific psychological markers, if any, of vascular dementia, and also the genetic factors involved. The overlap with Alzheimer's disease will be a central issue, as will be the white matter changes frequently seen in dementia.
If you wish to find out more about the Congress or to register visit
Online registration closes on 20th October. For those attending the event please do visit Marc (19th only) and myself on our stand and encourage those you meet to visit us too.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Kind regards,
